Amanda Glover was born in Florida, where she was raised with her younger brother and sister, who were subjected to her passion of teaching from a young age, by being "volun-told" to "play school.” Amanda has been teaching for inspirational 5th graders for 9 years and is honored to have been voted her school's 2016-2017 Teacher of the Year. She is an active member of HAEST (Hillsborough Association of Elementary Science Teachers), Math and Science Partnership (MSP) STEM Lesson author and STEM Leadership Academy presenter. She has always had a passion for technology inside, and outside, of the classroom. Amanda has involved herself with instructional technology professional development and become a Microsoft Innovative Educator, CCGA Trainer, PD trainer, and an NCCE Professional Learning Specialist. Her goals are to improve the effective uses of technology through exploration of resources, PD, and implementation, and to share her enthusiasm and passion with others! When not working, chatting/networking on Twitter, or attending/hosting a PD, Amanda loves spending time with her family and friends, painting, traveling, and crafting.
