Friday, March 24, 2017. 8:00 AM
Richard Snyder called the meeting to order. Richard introduced Board of Directors and Staff and thanks the Volunteers for all they do for the organization.
Heidi reported that the organization is strong and growing. She reported that NCCE has delivered more than 800 days of PD last year.
She reported that NCCE had recently submitted a proposal for a large ($8 million) grant for STEM PD around the country.
Heidi reminded members that Eric Chambers is NCCE's Director of E-Rate and Special Services. She encouraged all members to make sure their districts use Eric to make sure they get as E-Rate much funds as possible.
Finally, Heidi announced that we'll be using the “I Am NCCE” theme throughout the year. Be sure to use it in your posts and communications.
A motion was made by Clancy Wolf, seconded by Jane Miller to approve the minutes. One typo was pointed out and corrected. Motion passed.
Christopher Rosetta reported that the Board had made three changes to their governance policies. As these are governance of the Board of Directors policy, and are not part of the By Laws they don’t require membership approval.
