Educational Technology and Curricular Innovation
Adina Popa is an award-winning educator, with over 15 years experience in a school and district setting. She motivates teachers to improve current performance, works with teams to research new trends to be implemented in the curriculum, and creates partnerships with schools, education leaders, organizations and educational companies, to design collaboration projects, exchange best practices, and support 21st Century Learning.
Adina is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Master Trainer, a Promethean Planet Super User, a judge for the CODiE Awards, an Educational Advisor for BrainPOP, netTrekker and ePals, the European Coordinator for the Global Education Conference, and the founder of TEDxAshburn.
Adina was awarded "VSTE Technology Innovator" (2010), was inducted into the National School Boards Association's "20 to Watch" group (2010), was recognized as a Pathfinder School at the Microsoft Global Forum in Prague (2012), was labeled as a "Top 50 innovators" by the Center for Digital Education (2012), and was featured as a Hero in Education on Anthony Salcito's Edventures Blog (2014).
