Leaza Silver

Professional Learning Specialist
Denver, CO

I am a Denver native and received my Master of Education from Regis University and my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. I have spent over 20 years educating students from preschool to eighth grade in both Douglas County and Poudre school districts in Colorado. My experience spans across public, private and charter schools. My roles range from classroom teacher, special education paraprofessional, literacy specialist, team lead, and private tutor to Microsoft in Education Ambassador. I am passionate about mentoring new educators and served as a member of a school Leadership Team for many years.

While teaching in the classroom I used OneNote and Microsoft Office, among many other amazing technology tools and thus my passion for Microsoft in Education began. As a lover of technology in the classroom, I enjoy teaching educators how to utilize it as a vehicle to assist students on their learning journey. I am currently training educators as a Microsoft in Education Ambassador and I am excited to continue teaching and inspiring educators to use Office 365 to create successful blended learning environments!
