Tammy Dunbar is an intermediate teacher for the Manteca Unified School District. As a core member of the MUSD Superintendent’s Technology Committee, Dunbar helped oversee the “Going Digital 2015” project in which she helped train more than 1,100 teachers and 23,000 students from grades K-12 before 1:1 deployment in February 2015. She was also in charge of creating the MUSD curriculum for students to earn their Digital Drivers Licenses. Dunbar has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Communications and a Master of Education degree in STEM from Teachers College of San Joaquin (Stockton, CA), where she teaches evening Tech 110 classes.
With more than 15 years of experience as an educator and trainer, Dunbar has developed and delivered professional learning for educational conferences and communities across the country on such topics as Microsoft Office Suite products, 21st Century Learning, Common Core Standards in the Classroom and App-Smashing. She loves sharing ideas and strategies through her blog on teachergeekischic.com and on the Microsoft Educator Network. As a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert & Master Trainer and an NCCE Professional Learning Specialist, she embraces the opportunity to share her knowledge with educators from around the world while learning from them.
