Shannon Davenport

Director of Professional Development

shannon davenportShannon Davenport been in education since 1996. Currently, she serves as the Director of Professional Learning for NCCE. She has worked in the Clarksville Montgomery County School providing professional learning opportunities and aiding administrators and educators in the development and implementation of rigorous and relevant technology experiences.

Shannon joined NCCE as a professional learning specialist in 2014, helping to build the curriculum for a three-year Technology Integration to Improve Teaching and Learning grant from the US Department of Education in the US Virgin Islands. She has been a featured speaker at the NCCE annual conference as well as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, has been honored as both the Making It Happen recipient from ISTE and as a Distinguished Educator in Montgomery County Schools.

She enjoys working closely with administration, teachers, and students as they learn how the integration of technology can dramatically impact the learning process. Her qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in Early Childhood Education, from Austin Peay State University and a Master’s degree from Walden University in Integrating Technology into the Curriculum. Additionally, she is a member of the National Education Association, Tennessee Education Association, International Society for Technology in Education, and an ISTE Certified Educator and Trainer
