Most are now aware of Google For Education's training and certification options for educators and trainers. The foundation of these are the Level 1 and Level 2 Educator programs. These certifications not only allow you to go on to apply for other certifications such as Google Certified Trainer and Google Certified Innovator, but they more importantly give you a great accumulation of skills that will make you a better teacher and tech savvy educator!

Simon Miller, Kellogg Jt. School District 391
Currently the Technology Director for Kellogg School District (Idaho), Simon is a Google For Education Certified Innovator (GCI), Certified Trainer (GET), Levels 1-2 Certified Educator, & all-around technology junkie. Simon started as a MS science/tech teacher (9 yrs). During that time he received the Idaho Middle Level Association Reg I Teacher of the Year and KSD Teacher of the Year (2003). He has presented to educators at the district/state/region, levels. Simon also taught HS technology classes and is the head golf coach at KHS. He has an awesome wife, four adorable daughters, loves skiing, running and golfing.

Shelley Emslie, Swan River School District #4
Shelley Emslie is an enthusiastic and passionate person who has been teaching at Swan River School in Bigfork, Montana for twenty-one years. Swan River is a rural school with grades K-8 and 185 kids! Shelley teaches 5th Grade, Middle School Art, and is the GSuite Admin. She has never let her two-stoplight-town impede her innovation; rather, it fuels her desire to bring meaningful technology to her students and ignite their curiosity. She elevates her lessons by differentiating curriculum and bringing new perspectives into the classroom using GSuite tools, as well as some incredible web based programs, and apps.
