Build student vocabulary with PowerPoint
Description
In this course, teachers will learn how to explore independent vocabulary instruction where students create Frayer Models and build knowledge of vocabulary words used in a short story. Students construct digital Frayer Models in PowerPoint and connect concepts using the Zoom feature, This allows students to review definitions, characteristics, examples, and non-examples in a non-linear way. Instead of being confined to the four boxes of a traditional Frayer Model, these digital vocabulary tools give students a chance to expand their understanding across multiple slides.
