Professional Learning Specialist
Laura Boone has spent the past fifteen years helping others find success at the intersection of wellness, technology, and learning. She works passionately to support others through engaging, timely, and applicable educator coaching, technology integration support, and professional development.
Laura holds a BS in Economics, an MBA, and an MEd in Education Administration, and moved into education after a decade of working in financial services. She brings her corporate, district office, and classroom teaching experience to her coaching and training, infusing her work with an understanding of the delicate balance necessary to effectively serve all stakeholders within the community. She has served as a K-12 technology integration specialist since 2008 and currently supports district technology integration within the Scottsdale USD.
She speaks on a variety of technology integration topics with a special focus on Microsoft resources as well as computational thinking processes and the integration of mindfulness practices into the learning environment.
She is privileged to have recently been recognized as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and to have been elected to the AzTEA Board of Directors and as the Chair of the Professional Learning Committee.
