Professional Learning Specialist
Janelle Baillie, Ed.S.
I am a fourth-generation educator who has been in practice for over 20 years. A three-time Idaho Vandal, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2001, followed by a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2003, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Administration in 2012. I completed my Superintendent credential program in 2018 through University of Idaho as well.
My career began in Everett, WA where I taught middle school mathematics for three years before returning to my home state of Idaho. After seven more years as a middle school teacher, I made the transition to administration and served as the principal of Prairie View Elementary in Post Falls from 2012-2022. I now serve on the administrative team at Post Falls High School and oversee the K-8 Gifted and Talented program for the Post Falls School District.
I believe we are all lifetime learners and that a growth mindset is essential for continuous professional growth. I enjoy providing educators with authentic, meaningful professional development opportunities that mirror the engaging instructional experiences great teachers facilitate for their students as well as meeting people “where they are” with technology.
