Professional Learning Specialist
I started out as a network administration and end-user software trainer. After a few years, I began my fourteen-year teaching career and was naturally drawn to educational technology. I have spent the last five years of my classroom career training teachers to use educational technologies. Most recently, I completed a graduate certification program in Instructional Coaching, learning how to train teachers and how to design professional development programs geared toward creating effective and inclusive instructional methods in the classroom.
My passion is pairing effective instructional methods with engaging technologies, which is why I am thrilled to be an educational technology trainer. My favorite Microsoft tools are Teams and OneNote. But I cannot leave Minecraft off the list, as it is an instant engagement tool. I love showing educators how using educational technology tools can be a game-changer in any classroom.
