Professional Learning Specialist
Noreen Dooley has been sharing her passion for education and technology since beginning her teaching career in 2000. She has worked in four school districts within Texas and in 2017 she began establishing a nationwide footprint by joining NCCE as a professional learning specialist.
She has experience in numerous educational and administrative roles, and most currently serves as the Technology Coordinator at St. John Paul II Catholic School in Houston, Texas. In this role, Noreen is responsible for technical and instructional technology support. In addition, she works with both administrators and educators to research equipment and best practices as well as collaborates with teachers to integrate technology and content objectives in the classroom. She is also accountable for creating and delivering school-wide professional development training courses that focus on high-yielding instructional strategies that ensure students master relevant technology standards. Her training experience ranges from facilitating online courses and teaching large groups of professionals, to one-on-one modeling and team-teaching sessions with both students and teachers.
Noreen constantly seeks out opportunities to continue learning and abides by the quote “the more you know, the more you realize how much you don’t know.” She gleans much inspiration daily from working with a diverse and continually growing set of skilled educators from across the world.
Noreen is a certified Microsoft Educator Expert, Master Trainer and Global Minecraft Mentor. She holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology from Texas A&M University.
