Sandi Adams has enjoyed working with her NCCE family as a Professional Learning Specialist for the past 4 years and is excited for future opportunities to share her passion for educational technology and learn from fellow educators. She has recently retired from the Cherokee County School District where she spent the last 19 years as a Technology Project Specialist. She is a 5 time Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, a Microsoft Certified Educator and Master Trainer, a Microsoft Fellow, Skype Master Teacher and MIE Surface Master Trainer. Her roles have included researching emerging technologies, training staff on tools and classroom integration, training students, and evaluating hardware.
Before joining the district, Adams spent four years with Microsoft as a Family Technology Night presenter, visiting schools and presenting technologies to educators, students and their families. In all, she has spent nearly 22 years championing new technologies in schools.
