Wendy_HuriauxWendy Huriaux is a District Technology Integration Specialist with Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa, FL.  Prior to joining the Technology Training Team, she worked as an Elementary Media Specialist where she enjoyed instilling a love of reading, media, technology and all things STEM within the hearts of her students and school Media Center.  She has previously worked as an Elementary Technology Resource Teacher in both Title 1 and Renaissance Schools within her school district.  Wendy thoroughly enjoys teaching technology to students, learning about new technology developments and having the honor of assisting teachers with transforming their classrooms through the use of relevant, effective, and purposeful educational technologies.  She believes that it is paramount to provide a strong educational foundation for every student while also providing the 21st century skills needed to be successful in life.  In all that she does, she strives to bring along positivity, excitement and a growth mindset in order to inspire others.

Wendy is a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator and has been designated as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert for 5 school years in a row as of July 2020. She has also been named a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer for the last 2 years and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Master Trainer for the 2019-2020 school year.  She has over 3 years’ experience providing technology coaching support to K-12 educators and school sites within her school district.  Wendy received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida in 2004.  Go Bulls!
