For 30 years, Heidi has been working together with community leaders in diverse areas to shape education and take measures to support educators – financially, professionally, and technologically. Since 2002, Heidi has been the Chief Executive Officer of NCCE, a leading educational non-profit organization and Microsoft’s premier global training partner. During the recent pandemic crisis in education, NCCE pivoted to provide professional learning for educators across the nation and in the US Virgin Islands and virtually trained over 22,000 educators.
A well-known community leader and devoted volunteer, Heidi is past-president of six non-profit organizations including Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club, Coeur d’Alene Rotary Foundation, the EXCEL Foundation, Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), NCCE, and the International Society of Technology Education (ISTE), and is the current Board Chair for the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active board member of the Kootenai Health Foundation and the Idaho Community Foundation.
Heidi holds both doctorate and master’s degrees in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in educational technology from Oklahoma State University. The summer months are her favorite in northern Idaho, where she enjoys playing golf, boating on Lake Coeur d’Alene, and spending time with her son Weston, and his wife Coryelle.
