We’re thrilled to announce that Marlon Styles Jr., one of the most dynamic voices in education today, will be a featured speaker at the NCCE 2026 Conference in Seattle! Known for his bold leadership and fierce advocacy for all, Marlon will co-lead a Leadership Summit in partnership with Tech & Learning, bringing together visionary leaders from across the country.

Why Marlon?

Marlon Styles
Leadership is unifying people around a vision, sparking belief, and having the courage to turn that belief into bold action for kids.

Marlon Styles Jr. stands at the forefront of educational leadership and inspiration, recognized nationally for his visionary approach and fierce advocacy for equity. As an inspirational speaker, he has moved audiences with his commitment to empowering educators and transforming learning for modern students. In 2017, Marlon was named a Top 30 Digital Trailblazer by the Center for Digital Education, a testament to his pioneering efforts in digital innovation. His tenure as superintendent at Middletown City Schools marked another milestone when the district earned the ISTE Distinguished District Award in 2019, further cementing his reputation for excellence.

Beyond district leadership, Marlon’s voice has resonated on national platforms. In 2020, he testified before the United States Congress, passionately advocating for access and opportunity for every student. That same year, K-12 Dive honored him as Superintendent of the Year for his advocacy and impact across the educational landscape. Most recently, in 2025, District Administration named him one of the Top 100 Education Influencers, recognizing his enduring influence and leadership.

Styles’ mission is simple yet profound: to inspire educators to embrace their roles as empowered Unifiers, creating learning experiences that enable all students to thrive in an ever-evolving world. His dedication to innovation, inclusion, and empowerment has ignited change in schools and communities nationwide.

Marlon doesn’t just lead—he ignites. His work inspires leaders to rethink what’s possible in education.”
