As the Superintendent of Freeman School District in Washington, Dr. Russell is a proven results-driven leader. In his 36-year career, Dr. Russell has worn many hats: teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent. His accomplishments are impressive. Under his leadership, the Freeman School District has consistently achieved a remarkable graduation rate of over 98%, all while completing a wide range of successful construction and community engagement projects. From leading strategic expansion plans to overseeing multimillion-dollar developments, Dr. Russell’s experience is extensive—and he’s eager to share his knowledge and insights with you at NCCE 25.
