Recently, Microsoft released a playlist of Minecraft: Education Edition videos highlighting some of the amazing learning opportunities for students using Minecraft. In this first video, NCCE’s own Bradley Smrstick is highlighted along with Guill Strougo, a social studies educator from Cherokee Country School District. Together they share how Guill teaches trade and industry in his high school AP Human Geography class using Minecraft: Education Edition. Students learn and use Weber’s model of industrial location to design a product and establish a market in Minecraft.
