Recently, NCCE had the privilege of conducting a comprehensive training session at the Flint Cultural Center. This vibrant hub, located in Flint, Michigan, is dedicated to bringing music, the arts, history, and science to life for the community. The FCC offers a range of enriching experiences, including free general admission to the Sloan Museum of Discovery and the Flint Institute of Arts, as well as discounts for live performances and programs at other millage-recipient institutions.
During the visit, we provided training on Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook to a diverse group of attendees, including the CEO, security personnel, and IT workers. The session aimed to enhance their collaboration and productivity skills, ensuring they can leverage these powerful tools to their fullest potential.

Highlights: Tools for Everyday
Microsoft Teams: We explored how to streamline communication and collaboration within the organization, utilizing features such as channels, meetings, and file sharing.
SharePoint: The focus was on creating and managing intranet sites, document libraries, and workflows to improve information management and accessibility.
OneDrive: Attendees learned about secure file storage, sharing, and synchronization, enabling them to access their documents from anywhere.
Outlook: We covered advanced email management techniques, calendar integration, and task organization to boost efficiency.
The training was well-received, with participants actively engaging in discussions and practical applications of the programs. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and commitment of the Flint Cultural Center’s team towards embracing new technologies to further their mission of cultural enrichment.
We look forward to seeing the positive impact of this training on their daily operations and continued success in bringing the arts, history, and science to life for the community.
