HEY STUDENTS! Ready to dive into the world of cybersecurity and protect your school from cyber-attacks? Enter the NCCE CYBERSECURITY STUDENT CHALLENGE and learn how to keep your school’s data safe.

Challenge winners will be announced Monday, December 30.
- Challenge winners will be recognized at NCCE’s January board meeting by the NCCE Board of Directors.
- Winners will be published on the NCCE website and NCCE Blog.
- One grade band student sponsor will receive a FREE NCCE registration to
the Conference in Seattle, February 26-28, 2025, or 2026. - One grade band sponsor will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
- One grade band student winner will receive a $500 scholarship.
- One Star Engagement Award: $500 (to be awarded to the teacher/class
that best showcases via social media the process of the project during the challenge).
How to Participate
Create a poster and social media post to champion good cybersecurity actions. Make it a fun and creative way to spread awareness about the importance of staying safe online.
Student Role
You have been hired by NCCE to create and promote good cybersecurity actions for K-12 students. You will need to design a poster that can be shared with local school districts and a social media post that can be shared on social media.
Who is Eligible
Any K-12 student may enter this challenge. Students will be placed in the following grade level bands for ranking: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
Project Submission
Submit your poster and social media post as a JPG, PNG, or PDF and your Works Cited and Media Form as a PDF to the Entry Form by Saturday, November 30, 2024.
